Book Reviews (by me)
After shifting some books around (I built a new bookcase for all our stray books), I realized that I had about 20 books about writing and how to write in our collection. So I pulled them all off the shelves, and am going to read them all throughout 2009. Then I will review them, here. You're welcome.
I'm currently writing my 3rd Robert Burns murder mystery for a group that has had Pegasus perform a mystery during their Burns dinner for 5 years running. Since I ran out of kilt jokes, I bought a book of Scottish jokes from the Scottish Shoppe in Calgary. I also bought a copy of The Canna Sutra: The Scottish 'Joy of Sex', but Rupert Besley. It's hilarious. The drawing of Sir Sean Connery, "Shupreme Shex God of Shcotland" is priceless.
Along with working on the play, I'm also doing a wee bit of baking, getting ready for a Christmas pageant, and trying to figure out how to order my son's graduation photos (yikes!).
